It looks like you’re looking for deck optimization advice! Please be sure you have information about each of the following It's a cool list, but I think I would try to go all in on one of your combos instead of trying to run absolutely everything.įor example you could go all in on Isochron Sceptre combo and have Ballista as your only 0 cost card in order to guarantee dumping it into your yard, or you could turn this into a Codie-style Turbo Ad Naus deck where the only 0-cost is profane tutor which allows you to grab Ad Naus. Price of Progress: Powerful card and it will definitely make your cascade threshold high that turn, but aren't you likely to get yourself too low to use Ad Naus if you cast this? You only have 3 basics after all.Įdit: Blasphemous Act: Really good card that I would normally recommend running, but you're not gonna be happy if this shows up during Ad Nausĭoes Wheel + Breach actually win you the game on it's own? I think rather than drawing your opponents out you just use it to go get one of your other combos right? Spear Spewer: This just isn't as good as Thermo-Alchemist, I think you would be better off running ] to go find Thermo. I would really look into warping your deck around this combo specifically if this is what you're going for. If you can get Isochron into your yard fater you cascade into it you can recur it with Breach which is nice, but I think Isochron combo is the kind of thing you go all in on, running stuff like ] etc. Isochron sceptre + Dramatic Reversal: I would again be worried about hitting these off a cascade trigger as neither half really does anything without the other. Grapeshot: Do you need this if you're running Aetherflux and Tendrils? It seems like you're just gonna hit this off a cascade for 3 and feel sad. Pact of Negation: Same issue, you can hit this when you cascade for 1 and it breaks your chain, so maybe swap it out for another last ditch effort counterspell? (I see you're not running ] or ]) (Obviously you could take a creature that draws you a card or something but that option isn't always available) Inevitable Betrayal - Definitely a powerful card, but if you intend to storm off, this is the only one of the suspend spells in your list that doesn't 100% give you another spell to keep the chain going. Possibility Storm - What does this do for you? Do you have a lock with this that I missed? I think there's a few odd card choices so I'll go through one by one: LolĮdit: Didn’t realize autocorrect doesn’t understand that abandon and Abaddon are two different things. Hope I included everything I was supposed to for a deck help post. Please feel free to pick it apart and let me know if there’s any good synergies with the commander that I may have missed. ] + ] + ] for infinite draw to draw out our opponents. Storming off with commanders cascade ability, using ] or ] to close out the game. So far the decks main goal is to get massive value out of the commanders cascade engine, using cards like ] and ] to deal damage and get the engine online, while going for any of the win lines below. ![]() Have not been able to proxy it up and play it yet but I wanted to see what the community thought of the list and if there was anything I should add or remove. ![]() I tried to make it as competitive as I possibly could.
